Our Precious Faith

Today I am home alone with Faith for a few hours - a good chance to take some pictures of our sweet little 2 week old. Estoy solita con Fecita - la familia esta paseando un rato - un buen tiempo para tomar fotos. Faithie is awake more and more hours of the day. . . and she loves to look and listen to the busyness all around her. She was a bit fussy when all her entertainment left this morning, (that is to say Gordon took the children out with their Wenger grandparents!) Nuestro bebita esta despierta mas horas cada dia.

The lamb toy is the size of my hand, Faith isn't very big yet :) But how we love our sweet, tiny darling! Fecita esta tan chicita todavia - pero tan preciosa.

Faith Christiana - one week old

First of all, here is a picture of Isaiah David Wenger - 2 years old. This happy, smiling boy turned 2 on February 12th, the day before Faith was born. . . Aqui esta Isaias David Wenger jugando con sus jugetes. Este nino tan feliz cumplio dos anos el dia antes que nacio Fe Cristiana.

Elisabeth - the oldest at 7 going on 8 is a happy "Mama" of 2 dolls. She sure wanted me to have twins this time. . . but God had different plans. Elisabet esta feliz para tener dos "bebes" -queria jimelos - pero Dios nos ha dado solo una bebita tan linda. Faith Christiana - one week old. What a ray of sunshine in our lives! Sister Judy - these up close face shots are for you. . . so you can almost touch her. She looks most like Elisabeth did when she was a baby - but has her own little look too.

We are so enjoying our little sweetheart! Come and we will let you hold her a bit too. . . We sure enjoy visitors and hope that maybe a new baby in the home will entice you - our friends in various places of the States - to come and visit us. . . soon! We are only here in the States for a short while, so drop by while you can!

"Faith Christiana Wenger was born at 8:29pm, Sunday, Feb 13th. Everyone is doing well. Mama worked hard, Papa attended, midwife got there 10 min later. 20 1/2 in. 7 lb. 12 oz. It was a water-birth at home. Beautiful with lots of black hair! Stop by and see us soon! -Gordon and Betsie"

Our Tachllapampa Cabin

We took a lot of pictures of our last weekend out in Tachllapampa. The children are really going to miss our little cabin there. . . and no wonder - with a loft, a hammock, and a swing it was designed by a loving father for his little ones!

Hemos tomado bastantes fotos de nuestro ultimo fin de semana alla en Tachllapampa. . . porque los ninos van a extranar mucho so cabana alla. Su Papa ha puesto muchas cosas bien divertidas alla, como su columpia, su hamaka, y sus altos.

And Betsie just layed around. . . while Lydia kept her company! (How thankful I am now for so much better health - 2 months sick in bed was long enough for me! Praise the Lord~) Y Betsie estaba enferma todo este tiempo. Casi 2 meses de enfermedad ere tan largo para ella. . . pero gracias a Dios, ya esta mucho mejor!

Here is Elisabeth cheerfully sweeping the loft that Gordon built the girls to sleep in. . . it was their pride and joy! Aqui Elisabeth esta limpiando su mismo cuarto. . . ella estaba tan feliz que por fin tenia su segundo piso.

NOVEMBER

November was a very busy month with packing up, sickness, and Gordon's teaching job. . . But we still had time for grins, giggles, missing teeth, and pumpkin pies! Noviembre era un mese tan lleno con cosas para hacer - alistando la casa para dejar, Gordon ensenando, y tambien dias de enfemedad. Pero tambien habia teimpo para gozo y alegria - como cuando Elisabet perdio sus dientes!

OCTOBER

Rosa and Kevin are playing a game with Lucinda and Marie. . . they frequently spent time with us in the evenings as they lived alone. Aqui Rosa y su hermanito Kevin estan jugando con sus amigas Lucinda y Maria.

TEA PARTY When Gordon left to take Lucinda and Marie out to the airport, he was gone for nearly a week. He took Samuel with him - all of the children love a chance to go traveling with Papa! The many, many hours of bussing don't seem to wear them out like they wear us old folks out! Here is a picture of a little tea party we had while they were gone. Cuando Gordon y Samuel han levado las chicas, Lucinda y Maria a su vuelo a Los Estados, hemos quedado tristes. . . Entonces, hemos jugado y tambien un dia para divertirnos, hemos tomado mate y galletas para una fiesta pequna.
